The Trier company run 2026 is just around the corner and Oeko-Bureau is taking part for the first time this year. We are proud of our team, who will lace up their running shoes together tomorrow, whether beginners or endurance pros!

From now on our team is also active in the air: with our new drone we can capture project areas from entirely new perspectives and create impressive images directly on site.
Whether for surveys, documentation or vivid presentations – the bird’s-eye view opens up completely new possibilities for precise, modern planning.
We look forward to implementing our projects in even more detail and more vividly in future!
On Fat Thursday we did not only work, we celebrated too: with good spirits, creative costumes and plenty of laughter we brought carnival into the office.
Moments like these show how important team spirit, cohesion and enjoying our work are – also outside the daily routine.

At the end of November, colleagues from our office had the opportunity to attend the fascinating conference “Urban Birds: supporting our fellow residents! Species protection on buildings”, organised by the nature conservation syndicate SICONA and the conservation organisation natur&ëmwelt a.s.b.l.
The focus was on practical strategies for linking building design and species protection more closely – from nesting opportunities and structured façades to innovative measures for more biodiversity in urban spaces. Particularly valuable were the insights into current projects, concrete implementation options and the interdisciplinary exchange with experts from nature conservation, planning and architecture.
We are taking many new impulses with us and look forward to actively incorporating them into future projects. A big thank you to SICONA and natur&ëmwelt for the inspiring event and the valuable contribution to urban species protection!
Last week – despite rain, wind and muddy ground – we once again took on a special challenge: relocating protected orchids to a new habitat.
Why does this matter?
Many native orchids are strictly protected. When construction or infrastructure works are planned in an area, it must be ensured that these rare plants are preserved. This is where our team comes in.
With great care, expertise and weatherproof clothing, we:
✅ carefully dug up the delicate plants
✅ prepared suitable compensation areas
✅ replanted the orchids close to their original site
A big thank you to our dedicated team, undeterred by wet weather and cold hands – showing once again what practical nature conservation looks like.
Last week the new wind turbine (Oekostroum Biekerech S.A.) in Beckerich was ceremonially inaugurated.
The commissioning of the wind turbine of our long-standing client EMCA S.A. was preceded by an intensive planning and permitting phase, which our Oeko-Bureau team was pleased to accompany.
In close cooperation with EMCA S.A., our team is working hard on environmental assessments for further planned wind turbines in Luxembourg.
At the BusinessRun Luxembourg on 18 September 2025 the motto was: Team spirit on the running track!
With four motivated runners we completed the 5 km on the Kirchberg.
